Teals is a new farm shop, cafe, food market and independent-label gift store under construction on the A303 at North Cadbury in Somerset and scheduled to open in the summer of 2020. The exciting venture is aiming to connect local communities to local producers, and will provide the first electric car-charging, single-use plastic free store on the regional route, which links London to the West Country. The new building and surroundings provides a great platform on which to celebrate the abundance of traditional local producers and makers, and offer nearby towns and villages an alternative to supermarkets.

The building has been designed to be unobtrusive and to settle into the landscape which includes a well-established Somerset apple orchard. The accommodation includes a kitchen café for approximately 50 covers, food market, butchers, local cheese outlet, delicatessen, florist, and an area of the shop for non-perishables together with a small lifestyle section.
